Year it all began: 2011
A quick introduction: A folk rock experience influenced by a punk rock attitude on stage. Inspiration by bands like Violent femmes, Nirvana, Modest Mouse and others pioneers and trend setters. Every member has a various and large experience. Renaud puts his guitar experience with Malajube and Coeur de Pirate on hold to show his drummer skills here and Alex( other Pirate acolyte) continues to wow on the bass. Yan, as lead singer and guitarist, is at the heart of the formation with the music and lyrics compositions of his own….fruit of two previous projects he lead from start to finish. Now with Black Mocassins, all hopes are high for a fresh start giving all three members a new occasion to show their game, and create a wave.
What got you into music? Mom and dad and nirvana!

Dream gig? Opening for city and color!!
