A quick introduction: My name is Anastasia A and I am a pop singer songwriter performing a showcase at CMW this year! My most recent work can be found on Family Channel, YTV, and Disney. My EP is out June 16th 2014 called “Something Inside You”. My website is www.anastasiaamusic.net.
What got you into music? My true passion for music made it undeniably the most delicious challenge! I decided to go 100% or nothing, and here I am!
What are your sources of inspiration? I pull my inspiration from my personal relationship. I then take that feeling and emotion and add a spice of imagination. I love to play simple piano, and allow the words to come to me on that particular day.
Dream gig? My dream gig would be a headlining world tour with a boy band 😉
Your thoughts on Canadian Music Week? I absolutely love CMW and suggest that anyone seriously interested in the industry should attend and take advantage of the incredible summit.
Interesting points others don’t know about you? I’ve lived in 2 previous countries. Also, I almost opened up for Katy Perry this year! I am a songwriter first, and I am featured in a magazine next to Lord and Pharrell Williams.
