Hybrid music entered the building with Flicker State, right onto the stage at the Measure during NXNE.
If you thought Toyota brought a dash of hybrid into our lives, Flicker State took hybrid to a whole new level. Bridging the gap between man and machine, this Montreal-based group mixed post-rock, pop, ambient and waves into an interesting blend of music that can barely be described. Live instrumentation and electronic elements form a hybrid sound with plenty of bass, and plenty of reason to feel pretty good.
