Countdown to TIFF ’11

By September 3, 2011 No Comments

Its just under 5 days to the epic event every film and art enthusiast has been waiting for: The 36th Annual Toronto International Film Festival! Again the city of Toronto is going to be buzzing of laughter, enthusiasm and simple excitement with the arrival of the biggest names in the world of film. King & John becomes red-carpet central with the glitters and all at Ryerson & Elgin Theatre as well. TIFF brings together people from all over the world to share in the simple joy of experiencing film for topics of interest, stories of inspiration and the creative mix of sound and picture.

TIFF is one that I have experienced many times for many years, mostly in the a capacity of a fan running around the city in the hopes of experiencing the sheer madness that TIFF brings to the city. Over the years I have had many encounters, many unique stories that I have never had a chance to tell. Ones that I am not going to forget for a very long time. This time however, I want to bring the experience to the digital world, to share with those that may have missed a chance to experience it. Over the 10 days of TIFF I shall be blogging away as time permits the many amazing things that I am sure will happen but also to showcase truly what this city is all about when it comes to the arts.

From tips to stories, everything will be posted here. Look out for amazing things in the days to come!

Cheers!
