Toronto ComiCon 2013: Daniel Logan does the Haka!

Daniel Logan attended the 2-day Toronto ComiCon to mix and mingle with fans, sign autographs and much more. He is best known for his role as young Boba Fett from the 2002 film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Daniel Logan got into the world of acting when his amateur rugby union team was scouted for a TV commercial. He was chosen to for the role and immediately came under the spotlight, signing up for many more commercials and TV appearances. He later took on a recurring role in Shortland Street.

His big break came when he was brought into the Star Wars universe to portray young Boba Fett. Star Wars fans flocked to the Sunday Q&A, where he chatted with folks about his career, Star Wars and much more. The best part of the Q&A was when he called upon a fellow fan to perform the Haka, a traditional ancestral war cry from the Māori people of New Zealand. Daniel Logan is of Māori descent, so he took part in the cry and dance as well!

The Arts Scene was at Daniel Logan’s Q&A where we captured the Haka performance on video, which can be seen below. Also, check out all the photos from the Q&A session!

Make sure you tune back to watch our interview with him!
