With Nolan’s Batman trilogy coming to a close, another DC comic character being closely watched is Superman. After the not-so-great success of Superman Returns in 2006, Zack Snyder – the dude who brought us Sucker Punch and Watchmen – is taking a stab at the super-strength hero in his upcoming film Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill in the lead role. Audiences got a glimpse of his new film at The Dark Knight Rises screenings and now the films trailer is available to watch online. Its got a somewhat dark and deep feeling to it, similar to Nolan’s Batman. Then it would, considering Nolan is involved with the production.

I liked what I saw in this trailer (and the music was good, too), so I’ll keep an open mind. The movie has an impressive list of actors, so I think it could be good.
I agree! And with Nolan being involved with the production, we can expect a certain quality we have seen in his Batman trilogy
This raises my hope just a little bit, maybe, just maybe there will be a decent superman film someday.
lets hope this is that film. With Nolan involved, I hope Snyder takes into account his creative talent to make this an epic film. All we can do is wait and hope.
It’s too early to say, but this isn’t an ongoing process for a Justice League Film somewhere in the future, right?
I think it might be, though the possibility of a Justice League film at the moment is still far from in the pipeline. I think they still need to fix a few DC Characters before they attempt that. However, if Man of Steel is successful, I think it would be a great push towards a JL film to go head to head with Avengers. However, I don’t think we shall be seeing Christian Bale in the Batsuit again, unless Nolan miraculously returns and convinces him.
