Kicking off the festivities included an intimate conversation with actress-director Natalie Portman, the inaugural AMBI red carpet gala at the Four Seasons (photos coming soon) and of course, the annual Canadian Filmmakers’ Party.

Produced by The Academy, eTalk and The Spoke Club, the 10th Annual Canadian Filmmakers’ Party is a celebration event for all the Canadians who are helping evolve the arts and entertainment industry in Canada. It was an opportunity for folks to mix and mingle, and kick-off TIFF festivities in style.

This years event was hosted by TV host Ben Mulroney, actress Zoie Palmer, and actor/creator Jason Priestley. The event took place at The Spoke Club on 600 King Street West and was attended by the who’s who of Canadian film and TV.
