Toronto ComiCon 2015: Day 1 in Photos

By March 21, 2015 No Comments

It’s that time of year. The TAG team returns to the world of comics, sci-fi and fan awesomeness with the 2015 Toronto ComiCon, taking place at Toronto’s expo central, Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

While the first day of the event is more a warm up to the busier weekend, the venue was packed. Fans came out in their hundreds, all showcasing their love for the genre through amazing (literally, AMAZING) cosplay and great artwork. In addition, the ComiCon features hundreds of artists – many of them fellow Canadians – who have had their works featured in projects by Marvel, D.C., Archie Comics and more.

The ComiCon is also an opportunity for fans to interact with comic book vendors, independent businesses and fellow artists and designers to further dive into the genre and build up their personal collections. From custom t-shirts, to head-gear to accessories, the event had much to offer the comic enthusiast.

We had tons of fun, and its only day 1! Check out our gallery below to experience Day 1 of Toronto ComiCon 2015. We will be returning tomorrow and Sunday to bring you tons more photos and even a few special interviews!
