So this is what it feels like coming out of retirement…
After quite a while, The Arts Guild returns to explore the world of arts, culture and entertainment, and we kick it off from our old stomping ground: Canada’s comic conventions. The 2022 Toronto Comicon brought back memories, and we were excited to attend and show our support for those who, despite the circumstances, put in all the effort to bring their cosplay and art to life.

The Toronto Comicon is a welcome escape for many people since the lifting of capacity restrictions, allowing for individuals to tap into their hobbies and interests in a more active way.
With that said, cosplayers and vendors across the board were super respective of restrictions and incorporated masks into their outfits, only taking them off for pictures of their work.

We were excited to be in attendance, and thought we’d do something different this time around. Instead of our usual gallery, we’ve put together a highlight reel for everyone to enjoy, hopefully letting those who couldn’t attend to experience the convention vicariously from the comfort of their home.
