Canadian Screen Awards 2013: Interview with Zoie Palmer

The Canadian Screen Awards Industry Gala was filled with positive energy and excitement. A wonderful evening to recognize fellow Canadians and their achievements. We got to catch up with actress Zoie Palmer towards the end of the evening for a quick chit chat.

Born in England and raised in Canada, Zoie Palmer is best known for her role as Dr. Lauren Lewis on the hit TV show Lost Girl. Prior to Lost Girl, Palmer was seen as a regular on shows Search and Rescue and Instant Star. She has made many guest appearances on a number of shows, including Murdoch Mysteries, Flashpoint, Nikita, Degrassi and Call Me Fitz.

Palmer has a number of upcoming projects. She stars as Lou in Jeremy Lalonde’s Sex After Kids, opposite Lost Girl co-stars Kris Holden-Ried and Paul Amos. She also replaces Lisa Ray as the lead in Patch Town, a feature film by Craig Goodwill. The film is an expansion of the short-film Goodwill directed back in 2011. In addition to the two films she is a part of, Palmer will return to film the new season of Lost Girl in the spring.
