The Arts Scene sat down for a casual chat with Dillon Casey currently playing the role of Sean Pierce on the hit show Nikita, along side Maggie Q, Shane West and Lyndsy Fonseca.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Casey was raised in Oakville, Ontario. He went to McGill University to study and receive an undergraduate degree in science, before joining the University of Toronto, where he would receive a Masters in Economics. Auditioning while studying at university, Casey got his big break when he was cast in CBC’s MVP as Trevor Lemonde, a rookie hockey player. MVP was the kick-starter to Casey’s career.
Since MVP, Casey has gone on to start in multiple feature films and television productions, including his current role as Navy Seal Sean Pierce. Other show’s Casey has been a part of include Being Erica, where he played Ryan, Erica’s first real boyfriend. He has also had guest appearances on a number of shows including Vampire Diaries, Torchwood, Valemont and Warehouse 13.
Casey has a number of projects in development. He will soon be seen on CW’s first ever digital series, Backpackers. In addition, he just completed filming Rodny Paulson’s Only I, along with Brendan Fehr. In addition to all of this, he is always collaborating with his brothers on various projects, which can be seen at caseybrothers.ca.
