Out of the many iconic shows that existed back in the day, there is one that has remained a favorite of mine: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Kicked off in 1990, the show ran for an amazing six seasons before concluding in the May of 1996. It really gave an amazing direction for television as a whole and also put Will Smith on the map (who also happens to be one of my favorite actors). Even though it has been over 15 years since the sitcom concluded, the cast have kept a strong bond with each other which was made quite clear with a recent photo that was posted on Will Smith’s Facebook page this Christmas Day (see below).
Yes folks, thats (from left to right) Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), James Avery (Uncle Phil) & Will Smith! Not only is this a magical moment for the cast but also for the fans of the show who love to see the magnificent cast together again. Of course, we are missing a few folks here that include Daphne Reid (Vivian Banks) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey). Also missing is another character without whom the show would have been incomplete: Jeffrey A. Townes AKA Jazz!
As Will Smith nicely said in the caption of the photo: “there’s nothin’ like spending Holidays with fam!” – Indeed Will, Indeed!
