Grace Park discusses ‘Public Schooled’ at TIFF 2017

Canadian talent reign supreme at TIFF 2017, with many artists involved in a number of indie and mainstream productions. We spotted a recognizable face in Kyle Rideout’s Public Schooled: The very talented Grace Park. The Vancouver-based actress was in town to promote her new film, and we had the awesome opportunity to sit down with her to talk all about it.

About Grace

Many of you will recognize this British Columbia-raised rockstar from her two leading roles – Boomer and Athena – in critically acclaimed sci-fi show Battlestar Galactica, where her performance earned her a spot in TV Guide’s “100 Most Memorable Moments in TV History.”

Beyond the sci-fi world of Battlestar Galactica, she has portrayed a number of cool characters over the years:  Special Agent Liz Carver in The Border (which earned her a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Dramatic Role), Kono Kalakaua in Hawaii Five-0, and Shannon Ng in Edgemont.

Grace Park has received great recognition for her work, including the KoreAm Achievement Award in Entertainment (2010), and the APEX Inspiration Award (2014).
