Toronto ComiCon 2015: Chatting with Chad L. Coleman of ‘The Walking Dead’

We can quite confidently conclude that no comicon can truly happen without an appearance from a cast member from The Walking Dead. The 2015 Toronto ComiCon got the TWD treatment with an appearance by Chad L. Coleman, best known for playing Tyreese on the show. Whats even better? We got a chance to chat with him about all the fun he’s having at the convention.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Coleman came to everyone’s attention when he starred as Dennis “Cutty” Wise in HBO’s The Wire. His passion for the arts started when he was young, something he continued even during his U.S. Army stint as a video cameraman. While The Wire role was one of his top roles, he went on to guest star in numerous critically acclaimed projects such as The Good Wife and Criminal Minds. His next big role was as Tyreese in The Walking Dead, moving up from a recurring role to a main cast member. In addition to TV and film work, Coleman has also done voice work for video games such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Left 4 Dead 2. Coleman is currently in Toronto filming a new sci-fi space opera TV series called The Expanse that hopes to make it’s way onto screens later this year.

Enjoy the interview.
