Mark Rendall & Nicholas Campbell chat about ‘Algonquin’

We had the pleasure of sitting down with two Canadians – Mark Rendall & Nicholas Campbell – to chat about their film Algonquin, a film we reviewed not too long ago.

Algonquin follows Jake Roulette (Mark Rendall), an unhappy school teacher with an unhappy childhood. His life suddenly gets a kick in the rear when his absentee father, Leif Roulette (Nicholas Campbell) returns hope and insists that Jake help him with his next project about Algonquin Park. Accepting this temporary project, father and son retreat to the long-neglected cabin in beautiful Algonquin Park, only to follow with personal tragedy. Jake feels as his life cannot get any more complicated, until unexpected circumstances crop up, changing Jake’s view on things.

Enjoy the interview.
