Interview with the cast of Abigail’s Party

There’s a party rolling into town and its got some cool Canadians playing some wacky English folk. Precisely Peter’s Productions introduces Abigail’s Party to Toronto, starring Anna Hardwick, Dylan Roberts, Claire Burns & Cody Ray-Thompson.

Its 1977 in good ‘ol England. The Queen is celebrating her Silver Jubilee, and a group of neighbours in suburban Essex are getting ready for a little party. The drinks start to flow and the party gets into full swing, only to take a turn when relationships are tested thanks to the hard-to-get-along host of the party. This British comedy is one of the most recognized in England, capturing the lives of social climbers in what was the punk era in suburban England.

We chat with the four leads of the production – Anna Hardwick, Dylan Roberts, Claire Burns & Cody Ray-Thompson – getting insight into the play, the characters they portray, and some of the finer details this play hopes to put a spotlight on.

Enjoy the interview!
