Peter Keleghan Wins for CBC’s ‘War of 1812’ at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards

 

Actor Peter Keleghan took home the award for “Best Host or Interviewer in a News Information Program or Series” for his work on CBC’s The War of 1812: Been There, Won That at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards Industry Gala.

Born in Montreal, Peter Keleghan is known for portraying a number of roles, including the very recognizable Terrence Meyers on hit CBC show Murdoch Mysteries. Other notable roles include portraying Ben Bellow in comedy series 18 to life, CEO Alan Roy in Made in Canada, Clark Claxton Sr. in Billable Hours and Ranger Gord in The Red Green Show. He also portrays recurring character Randall Crane on Saving Hope and was recently seen in feature film Sex After Kids.

We got a moment to chat with Keleghan at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards about his win for War of 1812, his interest in history and of course, his character Terrence Meyers.
