Digital media projects are slowly paving the way for a new era in art and entertainment productions. Torontonian Katie Boland joined the trend with her latest project Long Story, Short, a web television series that made its debut on Koldcast.tv. At the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards Industry Gala, she won “Best Performance in a Program or Series Produced for Digital Media”.
Long Story, Short is a comedy-drama – co-produced, written by and starring Boland – that follows the lives of three women as they reflect upon their achievements, failures and shortfalls, experiencing the rollercoaster of love and relationship building in ones twenties.
We had but a moment to chat with Katie Boland at the Industry Gala event, but her enthusiasm and love for her work can clearly be seen.
