One of the highlights of TIFF 2013 was the NKPR IT Lounge Portrait Studio, a TIFF-long event that brought out celebrities to check out various new products and services and have their portrait shot taken by the events primary photographer. Last year, the legendary Patrick Demarchelier took up the role of snapping portraits of attending celebrities. This year, fellow Canadian Caitlin Cronenberg, in partnership with W Magazine, took on that role.
Throughout the run from September 5th to the 10th, a number of celebrities walked through the NKPR doors to get their portraits taken including Adrien Brody, Irrfan Khan, Brendan Gleeson, Eli Roth and many more. For every talent that visits the studio, NKPR and the IT Lounge will make a donation to Artists for Peace and Justice, which helps promote and fund youth education, health and dignity initiatives in Haiti.
We had an exclusive opportunity to take a sneak peak at the lounge prior to the festival and chat with NKPR President Natasha Koifman and talented Photographer Caitlin Cronenberg.
Enjoy the interview!
