The Young Emerging Actors Assembly (YEAA) held their annual TIFF reception on the opening night of the festival, and TAG was on scene to capture all the fun.
YEAA is a committee of ACTRA Toronto, the largest branch of ACTRA (the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists), the union representing performers in the film, radio, television and new media industries. The committee are members between the ages of 17 and 27, and its primary purpose is to unite young talents with the large, most complex entertainment industry. They act as a platform for young artists to help get the questions they need answered, promoting local talent, and being a central resource for networking and sharing resources.
