Tribeca 2014: Maggie Grace and Nate Parker discuss ‘About Alex’

We sit down with Maggie Grace and Nate Parker to discuss About Alex, a film celebrating its world premiere at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival.

Written and directed by Jesse Zwick, About Alex follows seven college friends find that their friendships have drifted apart over the past few years. When they find out that one of their group has had an emotional breakdown, the group of friends decide to take a weekend away, reconnect and provide a distraction for their emotionally distraught friend. While the intentions are good, the outing brings up old college day discussion points that put each of them on edge. The film hopes to take a look at adult friendships, and how the world of social media has watered down our definition of “connecting” with someone.
