The first weekend of April will celebrate all things writing when it comes to the arts. Top screenwriting professionals will gather to share knowledge, experience and inspiration at the annual Toronto Screenwriting Conference taking place April 5-6th at the Ted Rogers School of Management.
Focused around education and skill development, the conference will provide an opportunity for writers, directors, producers and others involved within the screen-based industries to learn more about art of writing and its constant evolution within the arts. The event will feature in-depth panel discussions and keynote speeches, designed to really dig-deep into various independent topics within screenwriting.
This year, the speaker line-up consists of some of the biggest movers-and-shakers of the industry. From keynote presentations by Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) and Leonard Dick (The Good Wife), to panel discussions with Emily Andras (Lost Girl) and Sam Egan (The Listener), the lineup is quite spectacular. In addition, there will be an NSI information session on both days, where participants can learn more about NSI’s training programs.
Beyond just soaking in information, the conference will also provide an opportunity for individuals to network, both with the presenters at the conference and those attending, providing an opportunity to share ideas, learn more about the happenings within the industry, and, perhaps, spark future projects.
