Toronto got a sweet treat this past Monday with a special Red Carpet Premiere of one of this summer’s most anticipated films: THE AVENGERS. Based off a series of Marvel Comics created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby, the film brings together superhero’s from recent Marvel films including The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Ironman (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) & Captain America (Chris Evans), where together they hope to out-power an evil that threatens planet earth.
With an official release date of May 4th, Toronto got a special Red Carpet Premiere at the Scotiabank Theatre on April 30th thanks to the kind folks at Walt Disney Pictures Canada. The event was made a million times more epic with the brilliant Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and the beautiful Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) gracing the red carpet. Also in attendance was Canada’s very own music sensation, Lights. Both Ruffalo and Smulders embraced the excitement of the event and gave alot of time to both the press and fans making it an absolutely fantastic occasion!
