Tribeca 2013: Interview with Clark Gregg & Saxon Sharbino

We interviewed Clark Gregg and Saxon Sharbino about their new film Trust Me as part of the BaByliss PRO Arts and Cinema Studio Press-Day, on April 19th, 2o13.

Trust Me follows agent Howard Holloway (Clark Gregg), who cannot seem to find success in the world of talent management, moving from one failed relationship to the next. When young Lydia (Saxon Sharbino) comes into his life, he sees an opportunity to finally earn some respect from his friends and colleagues and vows to take Lydia’s future – and his future in the process – to new heights. This new film – written by, directed by and starring Clark Gregg – puts a spotlight on the inner workings of Hollywood, and provides a unique perspective into the life of those who are a part of it.

Saxon Sharbino maybe new to the block but she’s a powerhouse talent who has already made her mark on the industry. She is widely known as Amelia Robbins in Tim Kring’s TV show Touched. She also appears in Brett Ratner’s TV movie Rogue as Jane Forsythe and as young Julia in P.J. Pettiette’s Julia X. Trust Me is her first feature film in a lead role.

Clark Gregg is known to many as Agent Phil Coulson from the Marvel Universe films – notably Avengers and Iron Man Films. Trust Me is Gregg’s second feature film as a director and writer, his previous film being 2008′s Choke in which he starred opposite Kathryn Alexander, Anjelica Huston and Kelly Macdonald. His other notable film roles include Leonato in Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing and as Vance in Marc Webb’s 500 Days of Summer.
