If there was ever a time you had to pick out someone at Marvel who had a lot of responsibility on their shoulder, Joe Quesada is quite high up on that list. Artist, editor, writer, and currently the Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment, Quesada takes on the responsibility on making sure that Marvel’s assets – its characters and their respective stories – stay true to the Marvel brand. Plus, as Executive Producer on many of Marvel’s projects – including Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – he is involved in a very large way to ensure audiences experience the Marvel brand to its fullest.
While his role at Marvel does take up a lot of his time, Quesada still manages to do a bit of art, working on a number of variant covers for a lot of Marvel’s iconic characters, especially Spider Man. His visit to Toronto is a special one with Fan Expo 2016 also marking Stan Lee’s final Canadian appearance.
