The Paper Lions hit the stage at Danforth Music Hall to perform during the 2013 NXNE music festival.
Formerly known as Chucky Danger Band, Paper Lions formed in 2004 in the little town of Belfast, Prince Edward Island, with singer and guitarist John MacPhee, drummer David Cyrus MacDonald, guitarist Colin Buchanan and bass guitarist Rob MacPhee. They later moved to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. A fun inside fact: They all met at MacDonald high school, with John and Rob being brothers and Colin being a next-door neighbourhood. Their strong friendship led to the creation of the band in 2004.
